Looking back at the 39th edition (2025)

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the Chaprais district pulsed to the rhythm of the 39th edition of its traditional Troc. Organized by the Association de Commerce et d'Artisanat des Chaprais — which also celebrated its 40 years of existence and neighborhood involvement on this occasion — this event once again attracted thousands of visitors to the streets of Besançon.

The 120 to 150 exhibitors set up along the district's streets offered an extraordinary variety of goods: antique and contemporary furniture, clothing for all generations, books and records, tableware and trinkets, toys and games, tools, and DIY equipment. Professionals mingled with individuals in an atmosphere of a large popular fair, conducive to discoveries and exchanges.

The entertainment offered by the association throughout the day contributed to the festive atmosphere characteristic of Troc des Chaprais. Artistic strolls enlivened the streets, while local businesses participated in their own way in the celebration.

The 40th edition of Troc des Chaprais is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026 — an anniversary not to be missed!
