Le Troc des Chaprais, organized by the Association de Commerce et d'Artisanat des Chaprais, takes over the streets of the district — rue de Belfort, rue du Chasnot, rue de la Liberté, rue des Deux Princesses, place de la Liberté, and rue des Chaprais — for a festive and friendly day whose reputation extends far beyond the neighborhood's borders.

120 to 150 exhibitors in the district's streets

Between 120 and 150 private and professional exhibitors set up along the streets of the Chaprais district to offer their treasures and swaps. Furniture, clothing, books, records, tableware, decorative items, toys, tools, and various curiosities invade the sidewalks and squares, creating an atmosphere of a large popular street sale. Besançon residents and passing visitors find something for themselves, whether they are seasoned bargain hunters or simple strollers.
