Toy and Ski Equipment Sale of Saint-Gilles

Every year in late November, the Salle du Sabot d'Or in Saint-Gilles hosts a sale like no other: in addition to traditional second-hand toys and board games, you can also find ski clothing and equipment. This original combination allows families to prepare both Christmas gifts and the ski season at a lower cost. The event takes place over two days, with item drop-off on Thursday afternoon and sales on Thursday evening and Friday morning.

Saint-Gilles, a peri-urban town west of Rennes

Located 12 km west of Rennes, Saint-Gilles is a town of about 4,500 inhabitants that has retained its rural town character while welcoming new families attracted by the proximity of the metropolis. The Salle du Sabot d'Or, the town's main event venue, takes its name from the old tradition of local clog makers. It hosts shows, sales, and community events throughout the year that liven up community life.

Drop-off and sale procedures

Items must be in perfect condition to be accepted. Drop-off takes place on Thursday from 12:30 PM to 6 PM. The sale is held on Thursday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM and on Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This evening and morning format allows working families to find a slot that suits their schedule. Admission is free for visitors.
