Human-scale spring flea market on the school parking lot of Boissise-la-Bertrand
Boissise-la-Bertrand, a charming municipality in southern Seine-et-Marne nestled on the banks of the Seine, organizes its annual spring flea market each year on the school parking lot. With its 27 carefully distributed pitches, this human-scale event favors quality encounters and friendliness over the gigantism of large commercial fairs.
The organizers have chosen an intimate format: 11 four-meter stalls and 9 two-meter stalls, for a total of 27 pitches. This configuration allows exhibitors to have a comfortable space and visitors to browse the stalls calmly without rushing. Registration is done by SMS, in a simple and direct approach that reflects the associative and caring nature of the event.
As in any good village flea market, Boissise-la-Bertrand offers a great diversity of objects: toys, clothing for children and adults, books, tableware, small appliances, tools, furniture, knick-knacks, decorative objects, and small finds. Prices are deliberately accessible, allowing visitors to leave with real bargains or the unusual item that will make a difference in their home.
