The Spring Car Boot Sale: The First Major Event for Bargain Hunters in Bresse

Every spring, the parking lot of the covered market in Bourg-en-Bresse hosts one of the season's largest car boot sales. Organized by the association Anim'à Bourg, this event brings together up to 150 private exhibitors on the allée des Glorieuses, in the heart of the prefecture of the Ain.

A Car Boot Sale Reserved for Individuals

True to the spirit of the traditional car boot sale, this event is exclusively for private sellers. You can find everything: clothes, toys, books, dishes, small appliances, vinyl records, trinkets, and decorative objects. Prices are generally very attractive, and haggling is part of the fun of bargain hunting.

A Practical and Accessible Setting

The location in the parking lot of the covered market, a stone's throw from the city center, offers easy access with a large free parking lot of over a thousand spaces. In case of bad weather, the event can move under the small hall, ensuring its smooth running regardless of the weather. A refreshment stand and a food stall are available on-site.

Information for Exhibitors

The exhibitor fee is €2.50 per linear meter. Setup begins at 4 am for sellers, while visitors are welcomed from 6 am. The event ends at 6 pm. No prior reservation is necessary.
