The bargain hunter's rendezvous of a Mantois village
In the Mantois, this agricultural region of the Yvelines where ancient villages, cereal plains, and small woods succeed one another, Soindres cultivates a calm that contrasts with the bustle of its neighbor Mantes-la-Jolie. It is precisely this quiet way of life that makes the charm of the village's annual flea market.
As in many small rural communes, the organization of the Soindres flea market relies largely on the mobilization of the festival committee and the town hall. These volunteers ensure each year the reception of exhibitors and the animation of the day.
Like any good village flea market, Soindres mainly offers what residents have accumulated over the years and wish to pass on. Clothing for the whole family, toys, books, crockery, small furniture, knick-knacks, tools, garden equipment, decorative objects.
Soindres is a village in the Yvelines located a few kilometers from Mantes-la-Jolie, set back from the Seine valley. Its territory, shared between agricultural areas and wooded spaces, retains an authentically rural character.
The flea market traditionally takes place on Sunday morning and throughout the day. Exhibitors set up at dawn, the earliest hunters arrive at daybreak, and the afternoon sees more families come on a stroll.
Soindres is accessible from Mantes-la-Jolie by road. Mantes-la-Jolie SNCF station connects to Paris Saint-Lazare in less than an hour.
Registration with the festival committee or the Soindres town hall.
Free entry for visitors.
