The largest Euro-Mediterranean record and comic book fair
Since 1989, the International Record and Comic Book Festival (FID & BD) has transformed the Dominican Church in Perpignan into a temple of vinyl and the 9th art. Presented as the largest Euro-Mediterranean record fair, this event brings together nearly 80 national and international exhibitors each year in an exceptional heritage setting. Rare vinyls, original pressings, collector CDs, and comic books are at the heart of an event that attracts nearly 4,000 visitors each year. A friendly space dedicated to meetings and exchanges around the professions of records, music, comic books, books, photography, and counterculture.
Since 1989, the International Record and Comic Book Festival of Perpignan has been an unmissable event for lovers of recorded music and the 9th art. Since 2010, comic books have been officially associated with the historic record festival, giving rise to the name FID & BD. Over the decades, this event has established itself as the largest Euro-Mediterranean record fair and one of the most important record festivals in the Mediterranean.
The festival takes place in an absolutely exceptional venue: the Dominican Church, located at 6 rue François Rabelais in Perpignan. This 13th-century Gothic convent, with its vast nave with majestic vaults, has been welcoming exhibitors and visitors since 1989 in a heritage setting of striking beauty. Strolling between vinyl stands in the heart of this historic monument gives the FID & BD a unique, almost mystical atmosphere, which appeals to both seasoned collectors and passing enthusiasts.
Each edition brings together around 80 stands of national and international exhibitors: professional record dealers, private collectors, publishers, specialized booksellers, and enthusiasts from all over France and neighboring countries. Visitors—nearly 4,000 over the weekend—find rare vinyls, original pressings, limited editions, 45s, CDs, DVDs, comic books, books on music and rock, posters, and photographs.
From rock to jazz, from reggae to hip-hop, from French chanson to classical music, including world music, soul, funk, and electronic music, all musical genres are represented at FID & BD. On the comic book side, fans will find original artwork, old editions, out-of-print albums, fanzines, comics, manga, and author signings. The festival is also a friendly space for meetings around the professions of records, music, comic books, books, photography, and counterculture.
The 37th edition of the International Record and Comic Book Festival takes place on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Dominican Church in Perpignan. 80 vinyl and comic book exhibitors, entry €3.
