About Quend Vinyl Fair

Every spring, Quend, a seaside town by the Bay of Somme, hosts its Vinyl Fair: an event entirely dedicated to vinyl records, CDs, DVDs and music scores. A favourite rendezvous for music lovers and collectors from Picardy and northern France, in a refreshing and friendly seaside setting.

A fair dedicated to sound and sleeve

In a market saturated with generalist events, Quend's Vinyl Fair cultivates its uniqueness: no crockery or small furniture here, only music in all its physical forms. Original 33s, rare 45s, audiophile reissues, second-hand CDs, music DVDs and scores.

An audience of enthusiasts

Customers match the exhibitors: mostly connoisseurs looking for a specific sleeve, a rare edition, a Japanese or German pressing. Rock, jazz, French chanson, classical, electronic, soul, funk fans all meet here.

Quend, pearl of the Bay of Somme

Quend is a coastal town just a few kilometres from the Bay of Somme. Split between Quend-Ville and the Quend-Plage-les-Pins resort, it is known for its pine forests, dunes and marshes. The fair is held in a comfortable municipal hall, heated and welcoming.

A full day of hunting and exploring

The fair runs from 9 am to 6 pm, allowing visitors to combine music hunting with a walk on the beach or a visit to the Marquenterre nature reserve nearby. The modest €2 entry (free under 16) encourages younger audiences.

A key event for the Picardy vinyl scene

In the vinyl revival seen in recent years, such regional fairs play an essential role: keeping a community alive and introducing younger enthusiasts to the analogue world.

Quend Vinyl Fair — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Quend Vinyl Fair was held on Sunday 29 March 2026, from 9 am to 6 pm. Record dealers, collectors and music lovers met in the municipal hall to browse vinyls, CDs, DVDs and scores in the Bay of Somme seaside town.

2026 Edition Review

On Sunday 29 March 2026, music lovers from Picardy and northern France gathered at Quend for the annual Vinyl Fair. From 9 am to 6 pm, visitors browsed the crates of independent dealers and collectors offering their rarities: original rock and jazz pressings, French chanson from the 1960s-70s, classical music, film soundtracks, sought-after Japanese editions.

The €2 entry (free under 16) welcomed a broad audience, from seasoned collectors to curious youngsters. Many extended their day with a walk on the nearby Bay of Somme.

The fair confirms its place as a key regional vinyl event. Return expected in 2027.
