About 450 inhabitants, near Luçon, Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits and the Marais poitevin. Known for the Parc de l'Aulnay, a listed remarkable garden. Bocage and sunken lanes all around.

Mostly private sellers: clothes for the whole family, toys, crockery, books, records, small furniture, tools. Occasional old brocante: regional faïence, rural items, textiles.
