Saint-Augustin parish charity sale in the 8th arrondissement
Each spring, volunteers of Saint-Augustin parish hold their charity sale at the foot of the magnificent 8th arrondissement church designed by Victor Baltard. In 2026, the event runs Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 March.
The Saint-Augustin church, recognisable by its imposing dome and bold metal structure (1860-1871), dominates the square.
Year-round, volunteers sort parishioner donations: clothing, coats, accessories, shoes, bags, linen, tableware, jewellery, books, toys and brocante. The affluent neighbourhood yields high-quality items.
Proceeds fund charitable actions: help for the homeless, food distribution, school support, assistance for isolated people and families in difficulty.
A long-awaited event by 8th arrondissement regulars and nearby neighbourhoods. Free entry, small refreshment corner on site.
On 24 and 25 March 2026, Saint-Augustin parish volunteers open their halls for two days of charity sale. Visitors discover clothing sorted by size and gender, linen, toys, books and decorative items.
This spring event, shorter than the winter sale, attracts both locals and passing bargain hunters. All proceeds fund parish social works.
