The collectors' rendezvous at Beteille gymnasium
A small town along the Tarn river between Gaillac and Toulouse, Rabastens (81800) is famous for its exceptional Notre-Dame-du-Bourg church, a UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Ways of Saint James in France. Its historic centre testifies to a rich medieval past.
Beteille gymnasium offers a vast covered space. The fair is multi-collection: stamps, old postcards, coins, champagne caps (placomusophilia), charm beans, old papers (autographs, rare books), vehicle miniatures, figurines, pin's.
Exhibitors are above all passionate collectors. Conversations flow among connoisseurs, beginners are warmly welcomed and benefit from advice.
Rabastens is 30 min from Toulouse via A68 (exit 7) and 15 min from Gaillac. Visit Notre-Dame-du-Bourg's 14th-century murals or the Gaillac vineyards.
The 2026 Rabastens collectors' fair took place on Sunday 12 April at Beteille gymnasium, as planned. It attracted collectors and curious visitors from Tarn and neighbouring departments.
Stalls offered the usual range of multi-collection fairs: philately, cartophilia, numismatics, champagne caps, charm beans, old papers, miniatures. Free entry allowed good attendance throughout the day.
