Private sellers make up the vast majority of exhibitors. The full flea-market universe is on show: children's and adult clothes, shoes, toys, baby items, books, comics, vinyl records, crockery, household linen, small furniture, appliances, tools, sports items (often including kimonos or judo gear passed on by members), trinkets and decor. Prices are very accessible and bargains plentiful, particularly for families.

A day in aid of the club

Run entirely by volunteers - parents, judokas, coaches and friends of the club - the flea market is a valuable resource for funding the club's activities: competitions, training camps, mats and equipment. A refreshment stand and catering on site (sandwiches, fries, homemade pastries, drinks) round out the day and extend the friendly atmosphere dear to the judo spirit: respect, support and sharing.
