The historic car boot sale of the Amicale Boule Doménoise, 25th edition in 2025
Since 2001, the Amicale Boule Doménoise has organized its annual 'pucier' on Place de Stalingrad in Domène. This event, celebrating its 25th edition in 2025, has become a must-attend for bargain hunters from the Grésivaudan and the Grenoble area.
Scheduled for early March, the Pucier des Boulistes is among the very first car boot sales of the year in the Grenoble region. Eager bargain hunters are delighted to find the atmosphere of the stalls again after the winter break. Place de Stalingrad, a large square in the heart of Domène, offers an ideal setting for this event which attracts a loyal crowd.
Domène is a town in the Grésivaudan valley, located between Grenoble and Chambéry at the foot of the Belledonne massif. This town of over 6,000 inhabitants has a rich associative life, of which the Amicale Boule Doménoise is one of the pillars. The boules club, beyond its sporting activities, actively contributes to the town's entertainment with the organization of this 'pucier' which has become a local tradition.
The term 'pucier' evokes the world of fleas and popular flea markets. The event remains true to this spirit with stalls offering bric-a-brac, crockery, trinkets, and everyday items at affordable prices. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, reflecting the spirit of the boules club that organizes it.
