Bazoges-en-Paillers Prévéil

Bazoges-en-Paillers, about 1,700 inhabitants in the Bocage Vendéen, north-east Vendée, 15 min from Les Herbiers and Puy du Fou. Its Festival Committee, founded in 1968, runs the Prévéil — a traditional popular fête held each spring for decades.

2026 edition: Saturday 16 May 2026 (2025 edition was 17 May). A proper old-style Vendée fête: flea market, kids' and adults' entertainment, shows, festive meal, dance. Family, friendly Bocage spirit.

A typical Vendée fête: each year the committee innovates while keeping traditional spirit. Festive weekend with activities for all ages: old games, inflatables, contests, demonstrations, evening concert or dance. The flea market with 50-odd local exhibitors is a highlight.
