The oldest flea market in the Hérault hinterland, every Sunday on Place de la Gare
The Paulhan Flea Market and Brocante is the oldest flea market in the Hérault hinterland, established in June 1996. Every Sunday from 6 am to 1:30 pm on Place de la Gare, individuals and professionals offer antiques, second-hand goods, and used items. A must-attend weekly event in the Clermontais region.
Established in June 1996, the flea market in Paulhan (34230) is the oldest in the Hérault hinterland. Every Sunday morning, the Place de la Gare comes alive from 6 am with the setup of exhibitors, both individuals and professionals. Antiques, second-hand goods, collectibles, old tableware, books, and trinkets make up a varied display that attracts bargain hunters from all over the Hérault valley. The market closes at 1:30 pm, giving early birds plenty of time to find great treasures.
Perched on a hill overlooking the Hérault plain, Paulhan is a village of character whose narrow streets and golden stone facades bear witness to a rich medieval past. The view over the Languedoc vineyards and the foothills of the Larzac is striking. The Sunday flea market is part of the commercial tradition of this town, once prosperous thanks to the wine trade and the railway station that gave it its square.
Entry is free for visitors. Exhibitors can book their spot from Monday to Saturday, between 12 pm and 8 pm, only for the following Sunday. The market is held every Sunday except the 2nd Sunday in May (Foire des Couleurs) and the 4th Sunday in August. This regularity makes the Paulhan market a sure bet for flea market enthusiasts.
The Paulhan flea market continues every Sunday in 2026 from 6 am to 1:30 pm on Place de la Gare. Free entry.
