The Nogent-sur-Marne Treasure Fair: a springtime highlight

Set against the backdrop of the remarkable Pavillon Baltard — a late heritage of the great iron-and-glass halls designed by Victor Baltard for the Paris market halls — Nogent-sur-Marne's annual Foire aux Trouvailles is one of the most popular secondhand markets in the eastern Paris suburbs. Organised by the city, it draws around 150 exhibitors and large crowds each May.

Around 150 sellers, endless discoveries

Vintage furniture, antique jewellery, retro vinyl, rare books, collectible clothing and countless curiosities await visitors at the fair's many stalls. The event caters equally to seasoned collectors and casual family strollers, creating a convivial atmosphere that extends beyond the simple act of buying and selling.

An exceptional heritage setting

The Pavillon Baltard, built in 1936, is a remarkable reminder of the grand covered markets of the 19th century. Its glass canopy bathes the exhibits in a soft, ever-changing light, while its classified façade delights heritage lovers and photographers. The adjacent Avenue Victor Hugo provides a pleasant, tree-lined promenade between the stalls.
