A Flea Market at the Heart of the Nasbinals Votive Festival

Every summer, early August, on the occasion of the Nasbinals Votive Festival, the Aubrac Lozère Tourist Office organizes an antiques fair and a flea market on Place du Foirail. The event brings together about a hundred exhibitors, individuals and professional dealers alike, from 8 AM to 7 PM. Bargain hunters can find antique furniture, crockery, clothes, toys, books, and various objects at affordable prices.

The flea market is part of the broader program of the votive festival, one of the highlights of the year in Nasbinals: petanque competitions, wine and tapas tasting, traditional meals (tripoux, aligot-sausage, fideuà), musical entertainment, a torchlight parade, and fireworks punctuate the weekend. Children have access to games and inflatable structures. Most activities are free; only specific meals and activities require a reservation.

Nasbinals, Crossroads of the Aubrac Paths

Nasbinals (48260) is a village in the Lozère Aubrac, located on the GR 65 (Camino de Santiago de Compostela) and on the transhumance route. Sheep and Aubrac cows pass through the village every spring during their ascent to the summer pastures, perpetuating a millennial tradition.

Nasbinals is also known for its 11th-century Romanesque church, one of the most beautiful in the department, and for its location in the center of the Aubrac plateau, at an altitude of over 1100 meters, offering 360° panoramas of the high pastures.
