Every first Sunday of the month, Voiron's market square, rue du Mail, transforms into a vast open-air treasure hunting space. This monthly car boot sale brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors who offer a varied range of second-hand items to early morning bargain hunters. The monthly format guarantees a regular renewal of stalls and finds.

A lively outdoor market

From 6 am, the first exhibitors set up on the square while the most motivated bargain hunters are already starting to rummage through boxes that have barely been unpacked. The atmosphere is that of traditional flea markets, with its regulars who meet month after month and its passing visitors who discover the place. Vintage and second-hand items are allowed, clothes must be presented on tables, and the sale of new items is reserved for professionals.

Voiron, city of Chartreuse

A sub-prefecture of Isère, Voiron is a dynamic town of about 20,000 inhabitants located at the foot of the Chartreuse massif. Known for its Chartreuse liqueur and its renowned companies, the town has a lively shopping center, with the market square at its beating heart. The monthly car boot sale is part of this market tradition and contributes to the animation of the town center on Sundays.

Conditions and prices

The pitch fee is set at €15 for 4.5 linear meters, with the possibility of leaving your vehicle on the pitch. For vans and trailers, the fee is €20 for 6 linear meters. Unpacking starts at 6 am and departure is mandatory at 2:30 pm, ensuring a well-kept and organized market.
