Every year, on July 14th, the Office Municipal des Sports (OMS) of Moëlan-sur-Mer (29350) organizes its traditional swap meet at the Kergroes school, Route de Kerfany. This popular event, which takes advantage of the national holiday, brings together individuals and exhibitors from all over the region for a day of treasure hunting and conviviality.

The Office Municipal des Sports is an association independent of the town hall that federates the various sports associations of Moëlan. To finance its actions in favor of local sports, the OMS organizes several popular events throughout the year, including this summer swap meet. The proceeds from the event directly contribute to supporting local sports clubs.

A festive day in the Breton summer

The July 14th swap meet takes place outdoors on the Kergroes school grounds, away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside, in a green setting. Exhibitors — about 120 participants depending on the edition — offer a wide variety of items: clothing and shoes, toys, books, tableware, small appliances, furniture, plants, and gardening items. Light catering is available on site so the day can be spent without having to leave the premises.

The swap meet takes place from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Entry is free for visitors. To book a spot as an exhibitor, contact the OMS of Moëlan-sur-Mer at 06 76 59 21 92. The site is accessible by car from Quimperlé and has parking nearby.
