Car boot sale and creators' market in the heart of the Landes bastide
The car boot sale and creators' market organized by the APEL of the Notre Dame school brings together private sellers and artisan creators each year in this charming bastide in the south of the Landes. A convivial day mixing treasure hunting and discovery of local crafts, at the foot of the arena and the medieval bastide founded in 1322 on the banks of the Adour.
Each year, the Association of Parents of Free Education Students (APEL) of the Notre Dame school organizes a car boot sale combined with a creators' market in the bastide of Grenade-sur-l'Adour. This associative event helps to finance educational projects and school trips for the establishment's children.
The originality of this event lies in the coexistence of a classic car boot sale, where individuals offer everyday objects, clothes, toys, and trinkets, and a market of local creators presenting handmade jewelry, decorative objects, clothing, and handmade products. This formula attracts a wide audience, from early morning treasure hunters to craft enthusiasts.
Founded in 1322 by the English on the banks of the Adour, Grenade-sur-l'Adour is a Landes bastide with remarkable architectural heritage. Its medieval arcades, its Saint-Pierre church, and its bullring make it a particularly pleasant setting for strolling among the stalls. The town, located between Mont-de-Marsan and Aire-sur-l'Adour, is easily accessible from the entire department.
The APEL Notre Dame car boot sale and creators' market returns on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Grenade-sur-l'Adour. Local treasure hunting and creations in the Landes bastide.
Refreshments and catering on site organized by the APEL.
