The Easter Car Boot Sale: Spring Treasure Hunting in Grenade-sur-l'Adour

Every year around Easter, the Club Amitié d'Automne of Grenade-sur-l'Adour organizes its traditional car boot sale at the Socio-cultural Center and in Charles de Gaulle Park. With about sixty exhibitors, this event has become a must-attend for treasure hunters in the Landes bastide and surrounding areas.

Indoor and Outdoor Spaces

The car boot sale offers two options for exhibitors: indoor pitches with tables provided (1.80m) for €8 per table, and outdoor pitches without tables for €3 per linear meter. Clothes racks, not provided, are charged at €2. This dual offering allows for both sellers of small items and books indoors, and those offering larger items outdoors in Charles de Gaulle Park.

Grenade-sur-l'Adour, Medieval Bastide

Grenade-sur-l'Adour is a bastide founded in the 13th century on the banks of the Adour river, between Mont-de-Marsan and Aire-sur-l'Adour. This charming town, with its arcades and half-timbered houses, offers a picturesque setting for treasure hunting. The Socio-cultural Center and Charles de Gaulle Park, located on rue de Verdun, are at the heart of Grenade's community life.

Catering and Friendliness

The Club Amitié d'Automne provides on-site catering with sandwich-fries and drinks. Enough to spend a full day of treasure hunting without leaving the premises, from 8 am to 6 pm. Nearby parking allows for easy access, especially for indoor exhibitors.
