Annual car boot sale organized by the Sou des Écoles de Sauverny, at the gates of Pays de Gex
The Sou des Écoles de Sauverny organizes an open-air car boot sale every year in the heart of the village. 100 to 200 private sellers set up along the Route de l'Église to offer clothes, toys, books, and various items. The event includes a refreshment stand with on-site catering. Entry is free and registration is via HelloAsso.
Every year in May, the Sou des Écoles de Sauverny organizes a friendly and family-oriented car boot sale in this charming village at the gates of the Pays de Gex, a few kilometers from the Swiss border. The event mobilizes the association's volunteers to offer a pleasant day of treasure hunting to everyone.
Sellers, exclusively private individuals, set up along the Route de l'Église and in the surrounding areas. Between 100 and 200 stalls offer a wide variety of items: clothes, toys, books, tableware, trinkets, small furniture, and many other finds. Stall setup begins at 7 am, while visitors are welcomed from 9 am.
A refreshment stand with catering is open all day, offering sandwiches, fries, and drinks. Card payment is accepted. Sellers benefit from a special offer: coffee and croissant for 1 euro (limited to two per seller).
Sauverny is a commune in the Ain department located in the Pays de Gex, a dynamic territory between the Jura mountains and Lake Geneva. This car boot sale is an appreciated meeting point for the local residents, blending village tradition and conviviality.
