About Secours Populaire Lauris
Each winter, the local branch of the Secours Populaire organises a flea market at Lauris' Foyer Rural. Both friendly and charitable, the event brings together private sellers and bargain hunters in the heated community hall. Proceeds support Secours Populaire solidarity programmes in the Vaucluse.
A charitable flea market
Organised in the heart of winter by the local branch of Secours Populaire Français, this event goes beyond the pleasure of hunting: it supports food aid, clothing assistance, school tutoring and holiday programmes for underprivileged children in the southern Luberon.
An indoor venue at the Foyer Rural
Held at Lauris' Foyer Rural, the event takes place sheltered from the weather — precious in February. The hall hosts around thirty stalls in a warm atmosphere. The winter format attracts regulars who enjoy hunting indoors while the mistral blows outside.
What to find
Mainly household bric-a-brac: children's and adults' clothing, toys, books, tableware, linen, decorative items, costume jewellery, records, comics. The Secours Populaire's own stand offers donated items at low prices.
Secours Populaire Lauris — edition 2026
On 7 February 2026, Lauris' Foyer Rural hosted the Secours Populaire charity flea market, 9am to 5:30pm. Around thirty exhibitors enlivened the heated hall throughout the day, allowing hunters to find treasures while supporting the association's outreach to families in the southern Luberon.
2026 Edition Review
The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 7 February at Lauris' Foyer Rural. From 9am, the heated hall hosted around thirty stalls run by village residents, alongside the Secours Populaire's own stand offering donated items. The continuous day until 5:30pm allowed a loyal public to hunt for clothing, toys, books, tableware and bric-a-brac while enjoying a warm refreshment corner.
Proceeds directly fund the branch's local missions: food aid, clothing bank and support for underprivileged children.
