The winter charity flea market at the village hall
A Montauban winter tradition, the February flea market takes over the Carreyrat community hall, organised by Les Blouses Roses 82 in partnership with Les Deux L 82. Open to private sellers indoors and outdoors, this neighbourhood event marks the return of bargain hunting after the holidays and opens the annual calendar of charity events run by the association for hospitalised children in the department.
Located at 2300 chemin de Fayence in the rural-residential Carreyrat district east of Montauban, the eponymous community hall is one of ten municipal facilities dedicated to community life in the city. With 600 m² and capacity for over 600 people, it is well suited to large indoor flea markets. Les Blouses Roses 82 organise the first event of the year here, traditionally programmed on a February weekend.
As with all flea markets run by the association in Montauban's community halls, two configurations are available: indoor tables (€4 each) and outdoor stands (€3 per linear metre) around the hall. This flexibility lets exhibitors choose according to fickle February weather, and offers visitors a varied path between heated aisles and open air.
The event is dominated by private sellers from the neighbourhood and the Montauban area: adult and children's clothing, toys, games, books, crockery, knick-knacks, baby equipment, vinyl records, small furniture. February is good for post-Christmas sales, with many toys and learning items, but also collections (postcards, old papers, militaria) from regular hunters.
Funds raised from exhibitor registrations support Les Blouses Roses 82, whose 23 volunteers work in 13 facilities across the department for hospitalised children at Montauban hospital and EHPAD residents. Refreshments and food on site by the volunteers extend the friendly atmosphere throughout the weekend.
2026 edition of the February flea market held on 21 and 22 February at the Carreyrat community hall, run by Les Blouses Roses 82. The event brought together private exhibitors and bargain hunters in a friendly winter atmosphere, with mixed indoor (€4/table) and outdoor (€3/m) format, refreshments benefiting the association's charity work.
The first event of the year for Les Blouses Roses 82 in Montauban, this 2026 edition lived up to expectations: the Carreyrat hall was full Saturday and Sunday, with exhibitors set up inside and around the hall. The classics — clothing, toys, games, books, crockery, baby gear, knick-knacks — filled the aisles from 8 am.
Montauban visitors enjoyed a weekend of post-Christmas bargain hunting with strong renewal of children's toys and clothing. Refreshments and food by volunteers kept the atmosphere going. Profits fund the association's work with hospitalised children and EHPAD residents.
