A typical village car boot sale of the Chalosse landaise, in a rural setting.
The ACCA d'Ozourt (Association Communale de Chasse Agréée) organizes a car boot sale and flea market every year in this small village of Chalosse, located between Hagetmau and Orthez. The event takes place on avenue des Pyrénées, the main street of this rural commune of a few hundred inhabitants.
Ozourt is a typical commune of Chalosse, this hilly Landes region renowned for its gastronomic heritage and its gentle way of life. The ACCA's car boot sale is part of this tradition of rural conviviality. Exhibitors, exclusively private individuals, set up their stalls along the avenue, offering clothes, crockery, toys, books, and second-hand trinkets.
The volunteer hunters of the ACCA provide drinks and catering throughout the day. This is an opportunity for the association to finance its activities of managing local wildlife and the environment, while bringing together the inhabitants of the village and surrounding communes around a festive and popular event.
The ACCA Ozourt car boot sale returns in Spring 2026 on avenue des Pyrénées.
