Forcalqueiret's annual flea market

Forcalqueiret is a Var village in the Issole valley (Provence Verte), dominated by impressive medieval castle ruins. Every spring, in early April, the town organises its annual flea market at the City Sport site, an outdoor area well-suited to sellers. 2025 edition: Sunday 6 April 2025, confirming the spring tradition.

The City Sport site, slightly offset from the historic centre, offers advantages: open surface, immediate parking, easy circulation for sellers and visitors.

A Provence Verte staple

Like many small flea markets of the Issole valley (Sainte-Anastasie, Garéoult, Rocbaron, Méounes), Forcalqueiret's has a family and local tone. Locals clear attics, semi-pro dealers supplement, and hunters from nearby villages drop by. Relaxed, friendly, simple.

A village worth visiting

Beyond the flea market, Forcalqueiret's medieval castle ruins overlooking the valley are worth a short hike. A fine parish church and a few typical shops add to the Sunday morning charm.

Via D554 (Brignoles-La Roquebrussanne axis) or D43. On-site parking. Bring cash and a light jacket — April Provençal mornings can be crisp. Often a small refreshment stand.
