Saint-Zacharie is a Var village on the Bouches-du-Rhône border, at the northern foot of Sainte-Baume. Each autumn, the town organises its big flea market on Boulevard de la Libération and Square Reda Caire — two central axes giving space for many sellers. 2025 edition: Sunday 26 October 2025, confirming the last-Sunday-of-October tradition.

Autumn timing has advantages: still mild Provençal weather, summer tourists gone, locals clear up before winter and hunt off-season gems. The town happily communicates 'hidden treasures' and 'items to adopt' in line with the eco-conscious spirit of such events.

Saint-Zacharie, a Sainte-Baume village

Known for wine, olive oil and proximity to Sainte-Baume and Mary Magdalene's grotto at Plan-d'Aups. Charming old centre with church, fountains, typical shops. Square Reda Caire, named after the composer born in the village, is a favourite gathering spot.

The main traffic axis accommodates a long line of stalls while keeping pedestrian flow easy. Clear linear route punctuated by square rest points.

Access

From Aubagne via D560 (20 min) or Saint-Maximin via D560 (15 min). Park on the outskirts — centre closed on flea-market day. Cash, sturdy bag, weather-appropriate clothing (cool late-October mornings).
