The OGEC Saint-Gervais flea market

OGEC Saint-Gervais runs an annual flea market each spring. Historically referenced on brocabrac, it's expected in the same slot in 2026 (exact date TBC). Proceeds go entirely to the village Catholic school for educational projects and outings.

Mostly private vendors from school families and neighbourhood set up early: clothes, toys, tableware, bibelots, books, baby gear, small furniture. Family, solidarity atmosphere led by the local Catholic educational community.

Saint-Gervais, between Challans and coast

A small commune of around 2,600 in North-West Vendée between Challans and the coast. Rural village character with church, town hall and old houses. Near the Breton-Vendée marsh with its characteristic flat landscapes, canals and maraîchin farms.

A solidarity event for the school

OGEC is the financial-management body of Catholic private schools. Its flea market is a key funding source helping the village school to keep offering quality education. Also a gathering moment for the educational community and a strong village link.
