Car boot sale of Messimy-sur-Saône

The Conscrits in '2 and 7' of Messimy-sur-Saône organized the 19th edition of their car boot sale on September 28, 2025, in the village center, by the Saône river. Between 100 and 200 private sellers set up over more than 1,000 linear meters, offering clothes, furniture, dishes, toys, books, trinkets, and collectibles to bargain hunters from the Val de Saône and the nearby Lyon metropolis.

Visitors took advantage of this last major event of the season to find bargains while enjoying themselves thanks to the two refreshment stands and the food area offering roast chickens, fries, andouillettes, and crepes. The rate of 3 euros per linear meter with a minimum of 5 meters welcomed a significant number of sellers in this village with its preserved rural character, about fifteen kilometers north of Lyon.

The 20th edition of the Messimy-sur-Saône car boot sale is scheduled for September 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of this event which has become a must-attend in the Val de Saône. Bargain hunters are invited to celebrate this anniversary with the Conscrits for an edition that promises to be memorable.
