Lagarde-Paréol Village Flea Market and Farmers' Market

A small village with a great community tradition

Lagarde-Paréol, a modest commune of around 320 residents nestled between vines and olive trees in the northern Vaucluse, proudly cultivates its tradition of village gatherings. Each year the Festival Committee organises its spring car boot sale, uniquely paired with a genuine farmers' market bringing together local producers. This hybrid format gives the event a particular identity appreciated by rural market enthusiasts.

The car boot sale: village soul

Exhibitors are mostly village residents and neighbours (Rochegude, Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, Sérignan-du-Comtat). They offer typical Provençal attic finds: rustic furniture, folk crockery, old farming tools, wine crates, household linen, toys and bric-a-brac.

The farmers' market: terroir products

Local producers present Côtes du Rhône villages wines (Cairanne, Rasteau, Sainte-Cécile nearby), olive oils, garrigue honey, goat cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables, charcuterie, artisanal bread, jams and aromatic herbs.

The village, overlooked by medieval castle ruins and surrounded by Côtes du Rhône vineyards, offers an enchanting setting. The fair takes place in the village streets beneath plane trees, in a relaxed rural atmosphere.
