Friendly car boot sale on Place Sainte-Anne, in the heart of La Riche, at the gates of Tours
The car boot sale of La Riche takes over Place Sainte-Anne for a day of popular treasure hunting in this town bordering Tours, between the Loire and Cher rivers, a stone's throw from the priory of Saint-Cosme.
The car boot sale of La Riche transforms Place Sainte-Anne into a vast market of finds for a spring day. Individuals offer clothing, toys, tableware, trinkets, books, vinyl records, small furniture, linens, and everyday items at affordable prices. The family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere attracts residents of La Riche as well as neighboring Tourangeaux, who are delighted to stroll among the stalls from the early morning hours.
La Riche is a town in the first ring of Tours, bordered by the Loire to the north and the Cher to the south. It houses the famous prieuré de Saint-Cosme, the last home of the poet Ronsard, as well as the remains of the Plessis-lèz-Tours castle, the former residence of Louis XI. Place Sainte-Anne, in the heart of the historic village, offers a pleasant setting for this spring gathering of popular treasure hunting.
The car boot sale is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free for visitors. A refreshment stand is available on site. A 3-meter pitch costs 10 euros. Information and reservations by phone.
The La Riche car boot sale returns to Place Sainte-Anne on April 5, 2026.
