Every year in March, the Sou des Écoles and the Comité des Fêtes of Four organize an indoor car boot sale in the commune's community hall. This indoor format is particularly suited to the season: visitors can comfortably hunt for treasures, sheltered from the winter cold, in a heated and well-lit space.

45 exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere

With 45 exhibitors, the indoor car boot sale of Four offers an intimate yet quality format. The sellers, exclusively individuals, offer a varied selection of items: toys, clothes, tableware, books, trinkets, and small furniture. The limited number of stalls allows visitors to take their time exploring each table and chatting with the sellers.

An event for the benefit of schools

All profits from the car boot sale are donated to the Sou des Écoles of Four to fund school trips and activities for the commune's children. Visitor entry is set at 1 euro, a symbolic contribution that helps with funding. Exhibitors pay for their space at 3 euros per linear meter, with the option to add a table.

Organization and opening hours

Exhibitor setup begins at 6 am, while opening to visitors is scheduled for 7 am. This early opening delights treasure hunters who like to arrive early to have the first choice. A refreshment stand and on-site catering are available to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Four is a commune of about 2,500 inhabitants located in the north of Isère, between Bourgoin-Jallieu and L'Isle-d'Abeau. Associative life is particularly rich there, driven by a very active Comité des Fêtes and Sou des Écoles.
