Few Vendée flea markets match this longevity. The Venansault Twinning Committee's event, 23rd edition in 2025, is a historic local fixture. Supported by an association promoting links with European partner communes, it funds international exchanges.

2026 edition expected in June (likely Sunday 14 June). Same principle since day one: a big open-air morning of bargain-hunting at accessible prices, in the typical friendly atmosphere of Vendée community events.

The Twinning Committee

Twinning committees have maintained European ties since post-war. They run school exchanges, reciprocal visits, shared celebrations. The flea market is key funding: profits go to foreign delegation stays, cultural activities.

Loyal crowd

Thanks to its age, a very loyal public: families, Sunday-morning bargain hunters, collectors. Generations of Venansault residents mingle. Some sellers return every year for 15-20 years.
