The Landeronde garage sale
Landeronde, a Vendée plain village midway between Aizenay and La Roche-sur-Yon, holds its annual garage sale each spring at the leisure area, 16 rue des Saulniers, route de Beaulieu. 2026 date: Sunday 7 June, 8am-6pm. About 120 private sellers spread across the shaded outdoor site.
The setting is a real asset: wide grassy areas, practical aisles, sellers can park near their pitch. Browsers enjoy the variety and the calm of a human-scale sale.

Landeronde, authentic plain village
Just over 2,000 inhabitants. Rural identity preserved with active community life: festival committee, PTA, sports clubs. The sale mobilises many volunteers and draws hunters from around the Yonnais ring (Aizenay, Mouilleron-le-Captif, Le Poiré-sur-Vie, La Roche-sur-Yon).

15 min from La Roche-sur-Yon, 10 min from Aizenay, 25 min from the coast. Combine the morning with a walk in L'Aubonnière forest or a visit to Bourgneuf marshes.

Rural churches, lime kilns, old washhouses, signed bocage trails. Maison de la Vie Rurale at nearby Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups.
