Every August 15th, the day of the Assumption, the small village of Gendrey comes alive for its annual car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes. This event has become an anticipated meeting for treasure hunters in the North Jura and the Dole region.
The exhibitors, exclusively individuals, set up in the village streets from the morning. You can find clothes, toys, dishes, trinkets, books, small furniture, and a multitude of everyday objects at low prices. The atmosphere is that of a village festival, relaxed and friendly.
