The car boot sale of the Foyer Rural d'Evans brings together around 200 exhibitors each year in the Rue de la Fontaine of this village located between Dole and Arbois. This major event, held in September from 7:30 am to 6 pm, attracts bargain hunters from all over the department. Refreshments, food, and parking on site. An unmissable back-to-school event.
Every September, the village of Evans, located in the Val d'Amour between Dole and Arbois, hosts a large-scale car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural. With around 200 exhibitors set up along the Rue de la Fontaine, the event is one of the most important in the department.
The exhibitors, mainly individuals, set up their stalls from 6 am (setup until 7 pm) along the Rue de la Fontaine, the village's main street. Public opening is at 7:30 am and sales continue until 6 pm. The offer is considerable: crockery, furniture, toys, clothes, books, vinyl records, trinkets, and objects of all kinds.
Evans is a village of about 600 inhabitants located in the Val d'Amour, a green valley crossed by the rivers Loue and Cuisance. The area, dotted with Franche-Comté farmhouses and forests, offers an authentic and preserved rural setting. The town's website (communeevansjura.fr) testifies to a dynamic and well-organized village.
The Foyer Rural offers refreshments, food, toilets, and free parking on Rue de la Fontaine. The organization is well-rehearsed and the Foyer Rural ensures the smooth running of the day. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented, in the tradition of large country car boot sales.
The Foyer Rural d'Evans car boot sale returns in September 2026 with 200 exhibitors on Rue de la Fontaine.
