The Fessenheim Flea Market is a popular annual event held in the streets of Fessenheim (68740), an iconic village of the Alsace plain made famous by its former nuclear power plant, definitively closed in 2020. From 7 am to 6 pm, private sellers and antique dealers fill the village streets with bric-a-brac, antiques and bargains. Exhibitor fee: €13 per 5 metres + €10 refundable deposit. Free entry for visitors.
Fessenheim is a Haut-Rhin municipality (68740) of around 2,500 inhabitants, on the banks of the Grand Canal d'Alsace, a few kilometres from the German border. The village is world-renowned for having hosted the Fessenheim nuclear power plant, France's oldest, definitively shut down in 2020. Today the village is reinventing itself.
The Fessenheim Flea Market takes over the village streets each year, offering exhibitors a picturesque and authentic setting. Exhibitor fee: €13 for 5 linear metres + €10 refundable deposit. Free admission for visitors. The 2026 edition is on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 7 am to 6 pm.
