Every Whit Monday, the Football Club Loisirs (FCL) of Ruffey-lès-Echirey organizes its annual car boot sale in this peaceful commune north of the Dijon metropolitan area. The event, which has become an anticipated gathering for bargain hunters in the area, takes advantage of the public holiday to attract families and bargain enthusiasts from all over the Norge and Tille valley.

A Leisure Football Club Focused on Conviviality

The FCL Ruffey-lès-Echirey was founded in September 2015 by football enthusiasts who wanted to play their sport in a relaxed atmosphere, without competitive pressure or mandatory attendance. About twenty members meet every Friday evening from 7 PM to 11 PM for training sessions and friendly matches. Presided over by Adrien Lapipe and Jeremy Rondeau, the club fosters a good atmosphere and camaraderie. The car boot sale is their main fundraising and outreach event.

Ruffey-lès-Echirey, a Village Between Norge and Tille

Ruffey-lès-Echirey is a commune of about 1,300 inhabitants located about ten kilometers north of Dijon, in the Norge et Tille community of communes. From 7 AM to 6 PM, bargain hunters stroll through the aisles of this outdoor market in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. A snack bar and a refreshment stand are available on site.
