The Brocante de l'École La Providence is organized every year in June by the APE (Association des Parents d'Élèves) of the École La Providence in Reims (51100). As in many French schools, volunteer parents mobilize to organize this festive and supportive event, which is the APE's main fundraising activity.

The flea market welcomes exhibitors — parents, school families, and neighborhood residents — who offer their items for sale: good condition children's and adult clothing, carefully checked toys and games, school books and reading books, school supplies, dishes and decorative items, DVDs and video games, small furniture, and children's equipment (strollers, bouncers, etc.). The event takes place in a family-friendly and warm atmosphere, typical of school events where everyone knows each other.

The proceeds from the flea market finance educational projects — school trips, excursions, shows —, educational materials, and extracurricular activities for the students of La Providence. The flea market is also a moment of conviviality and meeting between school families, often accompanied by entertainment, a refreshment stand, and light refreshments managed by volunteers.
