Every Saturday morning, Chemin du Mas Taillant, at the entrance to the Bompas district coming from the Perpignan exhibition park, hosts its traditional weekly flea market. Exhibitors set up their stands from 7 AM, and the market is in full swing until 2 PM. This regular event is one of many flea markets that punctuate Perpignan life, and it has a loyal following of bargain hunters, collectors, and good deal seekers from Perpignan and surrounding towns.

A flea market organized by reservation

Unlike some open flea markets, the Bompas entrance market operates by prior reservation. This organization guarantees exhibitors a reserved spot and visitors a regular, orderly display. The fee is €12 for a standard 8m × 2.5m car space, allowing the exhibitor to park their vehicle directly behind their stand. Utility vehicles and cars with trailers get a two-space spot for €20.

On-site services and practical info

The flea market offers a snack bar and refreshments so that exhibitors and visitors can have a coffee, drink, or light meal without leaving the market. A free visitor parking lot is set up at the entrance of the site. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented. For bargain hunters, it's an opportunity to find clothing, toys, tableware, trinkets, books, small furniture, tools, and family bric-a-brac at low prices every Saturday morning.
