Bargain hunting among organic vineyards by the sea on the Saint-Tropez peninsula
The annual Easter Sunday flea market and garage sale at Domaine La Tourraque turns this certified organic vineyard in Ramatuelle into a friendly bargain-hunters' village. In an exceptional setting among century-old vines, olive groves and Mediterranean views, exhibitors offer antiques, vide-grenier finds, a food truck and a jazz-bossa nova concert. A free event that has become a staple of the Saint-Tropez peninsula calendar.
Every Easter Sunday, Domaine La Tourraque - a family estate founded in 1805 and certified organic since 2013 - opens its gates for an extraordinary day of bargain hunting. Located at Cape Taillat on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, this 100-hectare estate (40 ha of vines AOP Côtes de Provence, 2 ha of olive groves) has been a classified natural site since 1995 and is now part of the Port-Cros National Park. In this preserved biotope where partridges, hares, tortoises and foxes coexist, bargain hunting takes on a special dimension: shopping by the sea, at the foot of the vines, among umbrella pines and dry-stone walls.
The event combines flea market and garage sale, making it accessible to all budgets. Locals from Ramatuelle, Gassin and Saint-Tropez come to clear their attics, alongside a few professional dealers offering more sought-after pieces.
What sets La Tourraque apart from other local flea markets is the festive programming. A food truck serves lunch and snacks, while a jazz-bossa nova concert provides a warm soundtrack perfectly matched to the Tropezian light. Visitors come as much to hunt for bargains as to spend a pleasant Easter Sunday with family or friends in an idyllic setting.
The estate stretches across an exceptional terroir between sea and hills, in a classified protected zone. Organic farming, hives in partnership with local beekeepers and grazing sheep all contribute to making La Tourraque a model vineyard. Visitors can follow the flea market with a free tasting of the estate's wines - the Cuvée Taillat rosé being among the most renowned - at the on-site shop.
Admission is free, pets are welcome, and parking is available nearby. The 2025 edition on Sunday 20 April 2025 (10am-5pm) confirmed the success of this local classic. The 2026 edition took place on Sunday 5 April 2026, Easter day, continuing the tradition.
Arrive at 10am for the best pieces. Bring cash, a sturdy bag and good shoes - the terrain is natural. Being fully south-facing, remember a hat and sunscreen even in April. Extend the day with a walk on the nearby coastal path to Escalet or Pampelonne beaches, or visit the perched village of Ramatuelle.
The 2026 edition took place on Sunday 5 April 2026, Easter Day, from 10am to 5pm at Domaine La Tourraque in Ramatuelle. Faithful to its annual rendezvous, the flea market gathered private sellers and dealers in the exceptional setting of the organic Cape Taillat vineyard.
