Handball Quercy Caussadais Flea Market

A large sale run by the handball club

Every spring, the Handball Quercy Caussadais club takes over Salle Bonnaïs and its large parking to host one of the biggest flea markets in northern Tarn-et-Garonne. The event has become a must, with the club's volunteers serving a double mission: funding youth handball training and offering Caussade a major bargain-hunting day.

An indoor and outdoor format

The format combines indoor stands in Salle Bonnaïs (4 metres with table and chairs provided) and outdoor stands on the adjacent car park (5 metres with vehicle on site). This dual setup welcomes 50 to 250 sellers depending on the year and ensures the event goes ahead whatever the weather. The flat rate of €10 keeps it accessible.

What you can find

Open to private individuals, the event covers a wide range: crockery, adult and children's clothing, toys, books, vinyl records, knick-knacks, baby items, small furniture, bikes, sports equipment, video games. Visitors from Montauban, Cahors or Albi often find items overlooked elsewhere at very reasonable prices. The 8 AM to 5 PM window leaves time to browse.

A club atmosphere

The handball spirit permeates the day: the club's youth players help with signage and the bar, while officials greet visitors and present the HBQC's activity. Refreshments and food are available on site, with simple, affordable lunch options.

Tips for bargain hunters

Come early — from 8 AM, even sooner — for the best pieces, especially indoors. Bring cash, a big bag, and don't hesitate to bargain reasonably.
