Seillans, one of France's most beautiful villages

Seillans, a western Haut-Var commune about 15 kilometres north of Fayence, has been listed among Les Plus Beaux Villages de France for many years. The village, clinging to a hill above the Camiole valley, unfolds paved alleys, arches, fountains and old ramparts in remarkable architectural coherence. Saint-Léger church, the medieval castle and Notre-Dame-de-l'Ormeau chapel are the heritage jewels that draw visitors year-round.

A flea market on Terrain Chaix

Terrain Chaix, a large space on the village edge, hosts events needing room : feasts, concerts, and the yearly or seasonal flea market. This location handles logistics (parking, seller vehicle access) while preserving the historic centre.

The offer

Mainly private sellers from the village, nearby communes (Fayence, Mons, Callian, Montauroux, Bargemon, Claviers) and the wider Haut-Var and Dracénie. Classic village jumble : clothing, toys, books, tableware, bric-a-brac, small furniture, décor, tools, sometimes terroir objects. A few area dealers may join.

Seillans beyond the chinage

Combine ideally with the village discovery. Twisting alleys, panoramic view, café terraces, artisan shops. Notre-Dame-de-l'Ormeau chapel, a few hundred metres away, houses a superb 15th-century retable, a jewel of Provençal religious art. Wineries, preserved Fayence country nature, Saint-Cassien lake complete the options.
