In August 2025, Saint-Hilaire hosted its annual car boot sale in the village center, at the foot of the Carolingian abbey. The exceptional historical setting of this birthplace of blanquette de Limoux added a special dimension to this day of treasure hunting in the Aude Razès region.
Private sellers from the village and neighboring communes offered a good variety of second-hand items. Tourists passing through, many visiting the abbey in summer, often made a detour to the car boot sale, adding a cosmopolitan touch to this local event. The volunteers' refreshment stand maintained the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
