An Unusual Flea Market in the Heart of the City

The Spring Flea Market at Terre Terre stands apart from all other flea markets in Seine-Saint-Denis thanks to its exceptional setting: a 3,000 m² urban farm nestled at the foot of the Landy bridge in Aubervilliers, close to the Canal Saint-Denis. Founded by the SAUGE association in 2020, Terre Terre is a participatory market garden, shared gardening space, and cultural venue that transforms into a festive secondhand market every spring.

A Day of Discoveries and Conviviality

The flea market welcomes individual vendors offering clothing, toys, books, everyday items, and curiosities. Around the stalls, the atmosphere is resolutely festive: a morning organic market for seasonal vegetables and plants, a guinguette and refreshment stand, games for children and adults, and an afternoon concert. The 2026 edition brought together bargain hunters and strollers in a relaxed atmosphere among flowering gardens and live music.

SAUGE and Terre Terre: Urban Agriculture and Social Connection in Aubervilliers

The SAUGE association was founded in 2015 and manages several participatory urban farms in Île-de-France. Terre Terre, its third project, was co-built with local residents and community stakeholders. It houses market gardens, an ecological nursery, shared gardens, and an animation terrace for small cultural events. The flea market fits naturally into this ethos of sharing and openness, adding a circular economy dimension to the association's mission.

Access and Practical Information

Terre Terre is accessible from Mairie de Saint-Ouen metro station (line 14) or from the RER D (Aubervilliers - La Courneuve station). Buses also serve boulevard Félix Faure. The flea market takes place outdoors. Free admission for visitors.
