Perched on a ridge between Lac de Saint-Cassien and the Var Préalpes, Montauroux is one of those perched villages of the Pays de Fayence that kept their Provençal soul while fostering a lively cultural life. Cobbled lanes, old stones, chapels and grand Haut-Var views frame a rich year of events.

On 12 April 2026 Montauroux held its spring flea market on Place du Clos, 7am to 4pm. Around fifty private sellers offered a day of bargain hunting in a particularly appealing village setting.
2026 edition
Sellers set up on Place du Clos and avenue Jean-Camille Pauc from 7am. The morning drew many Pays de Fayence and Haut-Var bargain hunters, charmed by Montauroux and the mild spring. The flea market ran until 4pm in a warm village atmosphere.
