The Gavaudun Festival Committee organizes its car boot sale every summer in this medieval village perched above the Lède gorges. This summer event brings together the inhabitants of Gavaudun and neighboring villages of the Haut-Agenais in a friendly atmosphere, at the foot of the medieval castle.
Gavaudun (47150) is a medieval village in the Haut-Agenais, dominated by its 12th-century castle perched on a rocky outcrop above the Lède gorges. This picturesque village, surrounded by forests and limestone cliffs, is one of the most remarkable tourist sites in the Lède valley. Close to Monflanquin and Villeréal, Gavaudun is at the heart of the bastide country.
