3,000 exhibitors: the giant street sale of eastern Rennes

Every first Sunday of October, the streets of Cesson-Sévigné are transformed into a huge flea market. Nearly 3,000 exhibitors—individuals, second-hand dealers, and associations—set up their stalls in the streets of the town center and surrounding neighborhoods. You can find absolutely everything: clothes, furniture, toys, books, dishes, vinyl records, collectibles, tools, sports equipment, and a thousand curiosities. The event attracts thousands of visitors from all over the Rennes metropolitan area and beyond.

More than 50 years of tradition

Created in 1970, the Street sale of Cesson-Sévigné has become over the decades the leading street sale in the department. Its success is based on a generous and accessible format: kilometers of stalls, free admission, and a village festival atmosphere. Volunteers from the organizing association ensure logistics, signage, and catering, creating a family-friendly and warm event that is the pride of the town.
