The Barbaste Festival Committee organizes its car boot sale every summer in this historic village in the Gélise valley. This summer event brings together the inhabitants of Barbaste and neighboring towns in the Pays d'Albret in a friendly atmosphere, not far from the famous medieval mill.
Barbaste (47230) is a historic village in the Pays d'Albret, on the banks of the Gélise, a tributary of the Baïse. This village is known for its Quatre-Fils-Aymon mill (14th century), an imposing medieval fortress that spans the Gélise, and for the Gramond tower. Close to Lavardac, Barbaste is at the heart of the Pays d'Albret in Lot-et-Garonne.
