The Vide-Grenier Brocante de Trouy takes place every year in July in the town hall park and the adjacent streets of the village. The green setting of the park, with its century-old trees and lawns, offers a pleasant and shaded setting for a summer bargain hunting day. The Comité des fêtes de Trouy organizes this event which attracts flea market enthusiasts from all over the south of the Bourges agglomeration.

Trouy is a commune located about 8 kilometers south of Bourges, in the Cher department. This peri-urban commune has retained a semi-rural character with its hamlets, farms, and green spaces. The Espace Jean-Marie Truchot is the nerve center of the town's associative life, offering numerous events throughout the year: Christmas markets, clothing swaps, shows, and, of course, the summer car boot sale.
